I am the lucky woman that gets to be Simon's beloved (est. 1990) and the mother of our 5 amazing minions (JDS-age 18; AMS-age 16; JLS-1999-2001; JSS-age 9; and sweet little COS-age 7), whom we have chosen to home school since our eldest was schooling age (circa 1996).
Below are photos of our dissection of a cow's eyeball. The photos are NOT for the weak stomached people, so BEWARE.
Long story short...we're going to encourage COS to become a surgeon (she LOVED this!) and encourage JSS to become...well, whatever is the OPPOSITE of a surgeon (this grossed him out completely!). Go figure!
How fun! I remember doing this w/Amanda & Kevin. Truly a cool learning experience!
Do you have any need for cat skulls? I've gotten rid of all the other bones, but still have two cats. I know it could be perceived as strange that we have them . . . but someone gave them to us. No animals were deliberately hurt!
Just say the word and they're yours. Otherwise they go into the compost!
